religious symbols



Here are two expressions of religion. Or maybe 3?

The pic with all the blue is a neo-something cathedral in Ottawa, Canada. The pic with the car is, well something in NYC. I think the NYPD park the car there for the artistic effect. Really.

That would be 'neo-gothic' you Protestant heathen! :-P

The color blue is often associated with the Virgin Mary in Christian lore. Anyway, it's a beautiful pic.

And yeah, the police car parked in front of the Church is too disturbing. Like they're saying the Inquisition is not over!

Actually, the blue roof is in a catholic cathedral.

The triangualr thingies in New York, I don't know what they are. I don't think they are a church.

But... All of Manhattan is a sort-of religious symbol, and this little thing is a part of it.

And so is the NYPD, at least in the local area.
