Under Siege
Ok "Under Siege" was a really bad movie, I won't link to credits in case they want to sue me. But here is another conspiracy:
I live in that little house.
Yesterday, some official looking people dug trenches along the whole block, it was hard to leave the place.
Today they show up with these spools of stuff, they are as tall as half the house. Maybe it is electronic equipment to listen to what I publish? Oh wait, what I publish is public.
This stuff is just piping for more cables, brought to you by Bell Canada. It just looks funny in front of the little house.

Are you telling us they didn't inform you of their intentions to block your house prior to the day they showed up with all that stuff?
PS: OK, now picture the mess in front of your house, but that it actually expands the whole city. Got it? Well, that's what it's like living in Mexico city :-S
PPS: And the work in the city won't last a few days or weeks. It will be at least two years before those idiots finish.
Actually they are pretty good about it. They do this very fast, and they put back pieces of the lawn.
It just looks funny, with those big things in front of the little house.
Yeah. From the angle you took the photo, it looks as if the guys were trying to put earrings to your house X-D
